We found Bhola in one of the most heartbreaking states imaginable his frail body covered in ticks, and his private parts eaten away by maggots. He had no strength to lift his head and lay motionless, defeated by pain and neglect. It was clear he had been suffering in silence for a long time, and his condition was critical.
But hope arrived just in time. We rushed Bhola to CESSNA, where he received emergency treatment, including wound cleaning, maggot removal, and a bath that freed him from hundreds of ticks. His haemoglobin is dangerously low at just 2.5, but after his first aid, Bhola showed a spark of life in his eyes.
